The Onyx Library

We’re excited to share a small but meaningful new addition to the gallery, the Onyx Library.

The idea began with Board Member Jay Thompson, who generously brought in the first stack of art-related books to get the shelves started. Onyx added a few more of our own, and just like that, a library was born. While the collection is still modest, it’s full of possibility and we hope it will continue to grow through contributions from artists, volunteers, guests, and friends of the gallery.

The Onyx Library is meant to be enjoyed right here in the space. Volunteers, artists, and visitors are welcome to browse, sit, read, get inspired, and then simply return the books to the shelf for the next reader. It’s a quiet invitation to slow down, learn something new, and deepen your connection to the art around you.

We look forward to watching this library grow, one book, and one reader, at a time.
