You are invited to exhibit your artwork at the Kirkland Arts Center (KAC) in downtown Kirkland, which starts March 6th and ends April 14th, 2026. The theme of the exhibit is “Celebrate Our Liberation - Art of the Black Northwest”. We’re looking for Onyx artists to showcase artwork at the KAC. The exhibit will be sponsored by Kirkland Arts Center and Onyx Fine Arts Collective (Onyx).

Please submit artwork which is reflective of the stated theme in an artistic format of your choice.
Application Requirements:
- Selected artwork can be of various media, multi-media, and/or both two and three dimension, and must be ready to install either on a vertical wall or on an open art pedestal. Two-D works or wall hung works must not exceed 48 inches in height or width before framing, Three-D artwork requiring a pedestal or horizontal surface; must not exceed 48H x 24W x 24D inches.
- All artwork submitted must be created or designed by the artist. No copies, derivative works, or reproductions based on copyrights or materials previously published are allowed.
- Artists can submit up to two (2) pieces maximum for consideration. Initial screening of artwork will be made by Onyx.
- All participating artists must complete application forms: Artist Consignment Form, Inventory sheet, one page artist statement either in PDF, or Word docs format.
- Please submit your images of artworks via email in: JPEG, JPG, TIFF, or PDF format. Files size: 1080 pixels on the shortest sides, with minimum 300dpi resolution. For 3D works, please provide one or two additional images per piece.
- All artwork must be gallery presentable and ready to hang with the wire hanging method. No sawtooth hangers, single hook or taped-on hanging attachments will be allowed unless approved by Onyx and/or KAC.
- Final selection of submitted artworks will be made by Onyx. Artists will be contacted by either email or phone about final selection of submitted artwork.
- When submitting your art image(s) via email, please attach your Artist Statement and for each image the following: Artist Name, Title, Medium, Size and Price.
