Following the success of Coliseum of Art this summer, we are proud to be unveiling a new exhibition that will light up Seattle’s life during the dark winter days ahead. Coliseum of Light will offer residents and visitors the perfect remedy to 4 PM sunsets with a entire three-month exhibition dedicated to light-focused art. We are looking for experienced artists to join us in transforming one of Seattle’s most iconic downtown historic buildings into a winter injection of local art and light. If light is an essential part of your creation process, we want to see it! What sort of art are we looking for? See below!* Whew. My head is spinning over the possibilities! We invite all artists working across the wide spectrum of light-based, illuminated, and light-responsive art to apply. Artists will receive compensation of up to $5,000 or up to $15,000 depending on the scale of the project.
